"This is a lovely hotel near all the shops. Staff were friendly stayed here numerous times. good value for money."

"We arrived on the train. Hotel is 10-15 minutes walk maximum. Taxis are £7-&£9 from station to hotel (Aug 25). Rooms are clean, spacious and there is a well equipped kitchen. Breakfast has a good choice from cheese/meats, pastries& bread rolls, cereals, fruit,yoghurt & cooked option. Hot drinks are available in the lounge area 24/7. There is a social evening 6.30-7.30 Mon-Wed which is a great idea. If you want foot to cook there’s a well stocked convenience store a few minutes walk away as well as a Sainsbury’s Local. Metro if you want it is next to train station 10-15 minutes walk away. Great value. There is a small gym, for runners the quayside is less than 5 minutes away. Definitely recommend and would definitely stay again. Staff are really helpful and friendly. "

"Hotel Staff were Very Nice. Parking/ Car Park is accessible. The bedroom was nice but maybe on the smaller side. The bed had a few back marks on the sheets. One downside to being next to the sea is that you can hear the seagulls all night but this isn’t the hotels fault. No coffee or Tea in the room. Good Stay!"

"Hi myself and daughter stayed here from 8th till 10th aug for the Sela weekend the beds was lovely and comfortable with 2 pillows.slept like a log.the staff couldn’t do enough for you.the breakfast was lovely especially the bacon.would definitely stay here again.the hotel was very clean."

"One of the better hotels in Newcastle in my opinion. Excellent service from Fiona on reception & from the restaurant manager, sorry didn’t get his name lovely spacious room & bathroom. Really comfy bed. Good Aircon Breakfast is great There’s also a pool & spa if you want to use them "

"We stay here for the annual sela cup and its the perfect base for st james park, the city centre and train station. The staff are always friendly and the bag storage even on departing is a godsend. Rooms are pleasant enough and the beds are comfy. "

"So convenient for NCL, a short walk from arrivals. Also, less than 5 minute walk to get rental car in the morning. Finally I was able to get a table in the restaurant, have something to eat and write my report from the days work while waiting for a late flight."
